Club training sessions
The club runs a number of structured training sessions and whole stack of unstructured ones. For details of the latter, pitch up at the club and have a chat - you'll always find a willing training partner. If a nailed on, there-every-week-come-what-may type session is more your thing, the following sessions are available;
Monday night rep sessions
These are now the Autumn/Winter sessions for this year. We meet at Wild Gardens Road at 6.30pm and run a warm up around Roath Park lake to reach the “Session venue”.
These sessions are open to everyone regardless of ability/standard. We hope that you will find someone there of a similar type standard in order to have company during the session. If you feel that you are not quite up to the full session then please let us know so that we can give you an alternative that will still allow you to take part in the session.

Thursday nights
This is our main Club night. If you are coming down for the first time it is best that you come at 6:45pm to introduce yourself and find some other Club members of similar pace to run with.
Officially it is a 7pm Mass start from Llandaf RFC clubhouse, staying together until the underpass at Gabalfa/bridge road (winter/summer). After that point, you may run at your own pace.
Distance options; Winter - 7.35 miles and 9.6 miles . Summer 7.5 miles and 10 miles. Both routes also have a 5 mile option. Again, all abilities welcome.
Saturday morning
Les Croupiers running club organises and supports the Cardiff parkrun, a 5km time trial that starts at 9am on the Taff trail adjacent to Tesco (Western Avenue). A one-off pre-registration is required.
Sunday morning
More casually some members run at 9.30am from Llandaff RFC clubhouse. Start together, then naturally grouping off, with the option of peeling off when required depending on how long you want to run. All runs head North along the Taff Trail towards - and possibly beyond - Castell Coch.
As a rule of thumb, if you can run 10 minute miles or quicker, you should enjoy plenty of company.
